I am upgrading my pc to windows 8 today and i a m currently playing gta iv and have made a big progress, so i wanted to create a backup on my save files, but cannot find the files in the directory they should be in: c:users[username]appdatalocalrockstar games i have read that there should be a folder named savefiles or something like that in here, but i can only see "rgsc" and "gta iv. Thanks for the info i have been reading that a lot of other people are finding it slow i did just download the new nvidia drivers for gta 4 that may help amd fx-60 2gb ram nvidia gtx 260 (overclocked as high as i can get it) vista 32bit and trying xp 32bit <- gaming only, no other programs installed. If you just backup your save games without backing up the xlive folder then gta 4 can refuse to recognise your savegames once you reinstall gta 4. charmingcharlie after patch 1.0.4 you only need.
